Photographs of earthquake victims relocated to the Petionville, J/P HRO Internally Displaced Persons camp in Port Au Prince, Haiti. Almost three years after the earthquake, the camp has gone from a peak of 60,000 residents, to 14,850 as of September 2012. J/P Human Rights Organization is a leader in helping displaced survivors of the earthquake. Moving away from providing shelter, J/P HRO is now focused on relocation, home building, medical treatment, education and schooling. Rubble removal, demolition, and reconstruction programs have expanded to include current work clearing Haiti’s Presidential Palace, which was destroyed in the earthquake.
